The beginning of my odyssey

I gained a love of good food and good ingredients and their importance in our everyday lives. It’s no wonder that I was drawn to an amazing specialty shop, Palmetto Olive Oil Company, in Greenville, South Carolina, where I live. It was there, first as a customer, and then as an employee, that my culinary world expanded. I was introduced to a tasty variety of flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars, as well as Ultra-Premium Extra-Virgin Olive Oils.

Working at the shop, I come in contact with hundreds of customers each year. I listened and learned what they wanted: a simple, informative book on how to use these products to their full potential, how to incorporate them into a healthy diet, and how to prepare delicious, nutritious meals for themselves, their families and friends.

As Old As Time is intended to give the reader an introduction to many of the Ultra-Premium Extra-Virgin Olive Oils, flavored Olive Oils, and Dark and White Balsamic Vinegars available – a beginning of a culinary odyssey.
